A home is a commodity and price is driven by what the market is willing to pay. That’s why pricing your home correctly is one of the most important factors in getting your home sold quickly. To properly set your price, and your expectations, check out recent sales in your neighborhood.  Pricing your Roseville home for sale is a crucial aspect.  Often times sellers think their house is worth more than it really is.  If you don't price the property right, you'll often times make less after doing price reductions, than if you would have listing it right in the first place.

Prepare to Negotiate

In real estate, there's a lot more to negotiate than just the price.  Many other factors come into play.  There are other fee associated in the sale of a property.  some fee such as title and escrow are standard and usually spilt 50/50; however, that's not always the case.  In certain areas of Roseville, Rocklin and Lincoln we'll have mello roos fees and transfer fees to negotiate.  Beyond the monetary parts of a transaction there's other factors.  Sometimes a seller will need extra time to move out after closing so a seller rent back.  Other things that might be negotiated are personal property in the deal.  Another important thing I bring to the table is that I know most of the other brokers in town.  It's easier to talk turkey with people you know and come to terms.

It's my job as your Roseville real estate broker to walk you through the entire process.  Upon closing we'll review your closing statement and make sure all the numbers align.  Having an experienced Remax real estate agent will also keep your mind at ease with our review process.  Most importantly we carry E&O insurance so if there's a problem after closing we can either look to title insurance or our E&O insurance for compensation.  I've seen several situations where people have been compensated, none at my expense but it happens.
